About Fran

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed and looked after by Fran, who’s never happier than when she’s helping guests to feel at home.

After breakfast, you’re most likely to find Fran tending to the garden or baking cakes for family and guests.

Fran is passionate about her garden which is open for the NGS for a day in August .

Fran’s also a passionate supporter of Yorkshire Cancer Research and the work they do to benefit patients and survivors across the region.

Fran and Owen’s son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren live next door, while their daughter and her family live in Surrey, so any spare time is usually spent with the family or supporting the family farm ( although she can also be found among friends and fellow singers at Pocklington Methodist church choir Garrowby singers).
